Hey Team SEA!  (Southeast Asia)

I know you've been anxiously awaiting this information and today's the day!  I'd like to offiically introduce you to your leaders!  (insert drum roll here......)

-------------------------------

Andrea Pasquan and Natalie Smith are your fearless leaders!  They couldn't be more excited to join you on this journey to Southeast Asia!  Here's a little fun info about each of them.  Feel free to comment here and tell them how awesome they are....because trust me, they are! :)

Andrea:

I am 28 years old and grew up in the Seattle area. I was raised Catholic, but came to know the Lord through Young Life in high school. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Business Admin degree, then worked at a Christian credit union for 5 years in CA.

I quit my job, sold my stuff, and went on the World Race. Since returning in July, I've been floating between Atlanta, Orange County, and Seattle. I am passionate about human trafficking, social enterprise, and micro-financing just to name a few.

I have eclectic taste when it comes to activities I enjoy doing, so I'm usually up for trying new things. My friends would describe me as laid-back, a friend-maker, peaceful, and a party planner. I don't like to be put in a box, which is why I had a hard time writing this ;)

Natalie:

Hello my name is Natalie. I'm from the great state of Colorado. I've lived there most of my life, 6 of my childhood years were spent in Massachusetts. I enjoy the mountains but must say that I LOVE any time I can have on a beach! I have caring, supportive parents, whom I owe much of my spiritual growth to and great siblings: a younger brother Jesse (19) and sister Laura (22). They mean so much to me and I brag about them all the time!

If I was to say what I like doing best I would definitely choose hanging out with people. Being with friends is the best thing in the world to me! Along with that I like camping, hiking, climbing, soccer, ultimate and really anything outdoors. I love a good cup of iced coffee and doing silly things that make others laugh!

I never wanted to leave the US when I was younger but God changed my heart. After going on the World Race I would say that traveling the world and living in different cultures is something I love and hope I can always do. The 11 months I spent serving alongside missionaries all over the world changed my life. It helped me to put life in perspective. Experiencing the hospitality of believers and their love for God is something I'll never forget.

I've recently gotten home from living in Spain for six months attending G42 leadership Academy. The time there helped me to grow in ways I never thought possible. Through classes and living in a great community I grew in confidence and boldness in who I am and how God sees me. I believe I emerged from there with new purpose in life. I hope that all my life I can work towards the goal of seeing God's kingdom come to this earth and help people to find their identities in our creator through Jesus.
